In Jerusalem for Yom Kippur

We are staying at the Scottish Hotel! So special. Beautiful gardens and wonderful chapel added to our refreshing stay!

There is a Holy hush in the city of Jerusalem…it’s the eve of Yom Kippur! Today was amazing as believers in Messiah gathered together for lunch and fellowship!
A widow heard from the Lord to gather us and Words of encouragement were given out as we listened to the Lord! I too received “timely words” that I needed!

This is a time of reflection as we prepare for what the Lord has for us in the next season!
Don’t try to live out of this season! Embrace the season you are in! In many it’s a winter season of curling up at His feet and tucking away in Him. There will be a spring and summer but first get your roots deep in Him so that you can move ahead in His wisdom and power!

God is doing something special in His city and in our lives around the world!! We ended the evening with lighting the candles declaring His light across the city!

Today was quite a special day as we started out with prayer in a beautiful Synagogue then to corporate prayer with Messianic believes who gathered. Then off to the old city on foot for no taxis are allowed to run on such a Holy day. We identified with the sins of the land, our country and our families and repented as The prophets of old did then called on the true and only God to bring redemption! Powerful time!!

Today as I was concerned for so many people at the wall, the Lord opened my eyes and I saw the area surrounded with angels!!

What a wonderful time with Tass and Karen of Seeds of Hope ministries in Jericho! I’ve loved this ministry for years as Tass Saada, author of “Once an Arafat Man” has brought reconciliation between Jew and Arab through his work.

This is a “lone soldier” we help sponsor in Israel that has no family here. What an honor!!  14632884_10210765433270657_4950118358074725622_n

As I presented the crocheted baby bonnets made by Sandy Topping and Lillian Hart to Ministry To Israel we all were delighted! They loved the tiny precious gifts of love for the women that come many times with just the clothes on their back and pregnant returning to their home land!

What a great day! Began with a visit to Ministry to Israel and Michael and Gina Utterback! From there to visit Jan at ORA Gifts, who demonstrated his excellent shofar blowing abilities! Then to Magane Yehuda! Oh my goodness!!! Talk about a sensory overload and cultural experience!!! It will ruin your shopping at a grocery store forevermore!! Such fresh, yummy food for cheap!!!! Taste and see that the Lord is good!!! Then shopping on Ben Yehuda!!! Fun day but surely reAdy to rest!!! Shabbat shalom! (Sabbath peace). There are so many people scurrying around buying food, challah (braided bread used for Shabbat) fresh flowers, etc. The shops close early, about 3. Prepare to enter in to the goodness of the Lord.
